Owners and
Trainers
The Board of
Greenmount are committed to developing the race type, quality and
programme of the new Limerick Track now in its inaugural year. With
Grade One status for both codes of racing, the further establishment
of Pattern races, an extension of race fixtures in consultation
with the authorities, and a commitment to an increase in prize money
are primary goals for 2003 and beyond.
With regard
to the remaining fixtures of 2002, we look forward to a competitive
Munster National two day programme in October, with the year culminating
in a four day festival over the Christmas Period. We welcome all
suggestions and comments on how we can improve and develop our business,
and recognise the vital roles played within the industry by both
owners and trainers, and look forward to establishing Limerick at
the forefront of Irish Racing.
